Data Insight

As an emerging student housing market, Italy offers a blend of challenge, opportunity, and risk. While the challenge lies in bureaucratic barriers to build and invest in the country, opportunity can be found in meeting the housing needs of an ever-growing number of students who are drawn to Italy’s highly-reputed universities and vibrant cities. Support from Italian municipalities has a profound impact on the growth of the PBSA sector. The result is evident in Milan, where the city council embraced the importance of developing student housing options. Yet, other municipalities remain hesitant.  What’s holding them back? What needs to be done to change this? Join our Italian Regional Forum, where we’ll dive into questions around policies, building permits, and the foreseeable growth of the Italian market.

Want to be a host?

Are you interested in becoming a site tour host? This opportunity is for Vienna-based student housing operators that can show up to 100 executive attendees around their building. The hosting sponsors should offer refreshments on arrival and arrange for their staff to guide visitors. In exchange, we will help you gain visibility pre- and post-event by offering promotional materials, mentions on our social media channels, and photos taken during the tours. This is a great chance to open your doors to our community of impact-driven leaders within the student living sector, showing them what makes your site stand out from the rest.
